Vice President, Retail Procurement & Vendor Management

We have an immediate opening for a full-time Vice President of Retail Procurement & Vendor Management in our Norwalk, CT headquarters. You will be a senior member of our Operations and Savings Delivery team managing large in-store retail procurement engagements, reporting to the EVP of Operations and Savings Delivery in our Norwalk, CT headquarters.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies and solutions that deliver cost savings while maintaining supply chain continuity and performance. Areas this role is responsible for sourcing and managing include:
- Permanent Fixtures
- Clothing racks
- Shelves
- Visual Merchandising
- Mannequins / body forms
- In-store decorations
- Supplies
- Hangers
- Shipping & packing materials
- Gift bags / boxes / tissue paper / ribbon
- Office & maintenance supplies
- Negotiate best pricing and service through the application of LogicSource's sourcing methodology, ensuring all buying complies with client policies and procedures
- Build a best-in-class supply chain; cultivate and manage relationships with best-in-class suppliers
- Establish and implement a supplier management structure and process
- Create database of supplier pricing and pricing agreements, including key performance metrics for service quality, inventory management, volume and cost performance indicators
- Supervise sourcing and procurement for indirect supplies across multiple clients, providing direction and best practices for on-site buyers
- Provide detailed cost analysis reports to LogicSource leadership team and stakeholders
The ideal candidate possesses the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required
- At least ten (10) years cross-functional experience in managing strategic sourcing, procurement, vendor management, logistics, shipping operations and material management for retail store operations
- At least five (5) years at the Vice President or Director level, managing a team of procurement professionals. Experience would include:
- Indirect procurement, supply chain management and store operations
- Managing employees and working within teams
- Services industries (e.g., professional consulting, BPO, outsourcing)
- Inventory management, requisitioning, fulfillment and distribution
- Strong problem solving and leadership skills
- Proven ability to build relationships and gain credibility in areas beyond defined scope of work
- Demonstrated ability to work with an evolving and dynamic environment
- Proficient in financial analysis and planning
- Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills
